No vote for HB 24 - Legislature is in recess

All indications were that the Senate Health and Human Services Committee was going to vote on amendments for the substitute version of HB 24 and then refer to the full Senate for a vote last week. OCAPS requested two amendments - related to confidentiality of APS investigation records, and ensure that subjects of a protective order get written AND verbal notice.

Both houses of the state legislature were scrambling last week to finalize as much as possible before going on summer recess.  Unfortunately,  the Senate HHS committee chose not to vote on HB 24 as part of this effort, and it continues to pend in the committee until the Legislature returns in November.
